§ 1 Seller, operator and Paddle’s role
(1) CamperProof is operated by Daniels Digital Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Lindenweg 27, 67346 Speyer, Germany, represented by Managing Director Marcel Daniels (“we”). We provide the software and are your contracting party for using the app.
(2) The paid purchase of CamperProof Premium (monthly subscription or one-time Lifetime access) is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 8172165, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom (“Paddle”), as the Merchant of Record. Paddle is therefore the seller of the Premium licence and your contracting party for the purchase; Paddle issues the invoice and remits VAT.
(3) It follows from this split of roles that withdrawal, refunds and subscription cancellation are handled through Paddle. You may nevertheless contact us in all of these cases — we forward your declaration to Paddle without undue delay (see § 2(2)).
(4) This withdrawal and refund policy applies to consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) — any natural person entering into the purchase for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
§ 2 Right of withdrawal
(1) You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded (completion of the purchase).
(2) To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Paddle as the seller of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You can reach Paddle via paddle.net (buyer support) or at the address given in § 1(2). A declaration of withdrawal addressed to us (support@camperproof.app) also meets the deadline; we forward it to Paddle without undue delay. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
(3) The easiest way is our withdrawal button: Withdraw from contract. You do not need to log in. You submit your declaration in two steps and then receive, without undue delay, a confirmation of receipt by email that reproduces the content of your declaration together with the date and time it was received. We forward your declaration to Paddle as the seller. This confirmation only confirms that your declaration reached us — it says nothing about whether your withdrawal is effective.
(4) To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
§ 3 Model withdrawal form
(If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back.)

§ 4 Classification of the service and early expiry
(1) In both variants — monthly subscription and Lifetime — CamperProof Premium is a digital service within the meaning of § 327(2) sentence 2 BGB: we give you access to a hosted online service. You do not receive downloadable digital content. The expiry of the right of withdrawal is therefore governed by § 356(4) BGB.
(2) Under § 356(4) BGB, the right of withdrawal for a digital service expires only once the service has been performed in full — and even then only if you previously gave your express consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon complete performance of the contract. This consent and acknowledgement are obtained during the order process.
(3) Monthly subscription: the service is performed continuously across the full billing month. It is therefore not performed in full within the fourteen-day withdrawal period — your right of withdrawal remains in place for the entire period.
(4) Lifetime: access is provided for an unlimited time and is likewise not performed in full within the withdrawal period — here too your right of withdrawal remains in place for the entire period.
(5) As a result, your right of withdrawal for CamperProof Premium does not expire early: you may withdraw within fourteen days of completing the purchase. For the cost consequences, see § 5.
§ 5 Consequences of withdrawal, value compensation and refunds
(1) If you withdraw effectively, Paddle as the seller will reimburse all payments you made without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day notification of your withdrawal was received. The refund is made to the same means of payment you used for the original purchase; you will not be charged any fees for this refund.
(2) Value compensation for the monthly subscription: if you expressly requested that performance begin before the withdrawal period ends, you owe pro-rata value compensation for the service actually provided up to receipt of your withdrawal (§ 357(8) BGB). It is calculated on a time basis from the price of the current billing month — for a withdrawal within the withdrawal period this is a very small amount. It may be deducted from the refund.
(3) No value compensation for Lifetime access: because Lifetime access is unlimited in time, a pro-rata value cannot be meaningfully determined. We therefore charge no value compensation for a Lifetime purchase — you receive the full purchase price back.
(4) Your Premium access ends upon effective withdrawal. Your account and the data you have already entered remain available within the free basic tier; you can export them or delete your account at any time.
§ 6 Cancelling the subscription (separate from withdrawal)
(1) You can cancel the monthly subscription at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. The quickest way is our cancellation button — it is publicly accessible and requires no login. Alternatively you can cancel via the management link in your CamperProof settings or directly with Paddle (buyer portal, link in Paddle’s confirmation email).
(2) After cancellation your Premium access remains until the end of the period already paid for; nothing is charged again afterwards. You receive confirmation of the cancellation in text form.
(3) Cancellation is not a withdrawal: outside the right of withdrawal under § 2, periods already paid for but no longer used are not refunded pro rata.
(4) Lifetime access is a one-time payment with no recurring charge; there is nothing to cancel.
§ 7 Goodwill
Regardless of your statutory rights: if CamperProof Premium isn’t right for you, write to us at support@camperproof.app — we’ll find a fair solution.
